PASSPORTkids! Learn to Walk Humbly During Camp

PASSPORTkids! Learn to Walk Humbly During Camp

This summer, I had the pleasure of taking Broadway’s children to PASSPORTkids! camp in Maryville, Tenn. Wetraveled to camp with Buechel Park Baptist Church, one of our Louisville partner churches, and met new friends from First Baptist Middletown and Lexington Avenue Baptist of Danville, Ky. The children all had a great time together, and are now begging us for a joint lock-in this fall!

Family Fun Days

Family Fun Days

Children ages birth through 5th grade are invited to bring an adult and join us for Family Fun Days each Wednesday during June and July in the Children’s Learning Center. Each morning, adults will have the opportunity to interact with one another while children explore Bible stories hands-on through crafts, games, cooking, and imagination.

Summer Sunday School

Summer Sunday School

If your Sunday School class is not meeting this summer, there are still ways to get involved during the Sunday School hour. The Spiritual Formation Team has worked hard to create intergenerational Sunday School opportunities, and we hope you will find the Summer Service and Summer Seminars to be great ways to connect and stay involved throughout the summer. This is also a wonderful opportunity to invite a friend!

Help us prepare for the Easter Egg Hunt!
The annual Easter Egg Hunt is coming up on April 15! Over the past couple years, we have been asking children to hunt eggs and turn them in for prizes, and we need help collecting prizes to use during our Easter Egg Hunt!

We give out prizes anywhere from stickers and yo-yos to hot wheels and stuffed animals. The Dollar Bin at Target is a great place to start! If you would like to bring prizes, please bring at least 10 of a kind to the church office, and label the items "Easter Egg Hunt."
Ideas for prizes include (but are not limited to):

Hot wheels
Coloring Books
Plastic animals
Sunglasses
Bubbles
Stuffed Animals

We could also use help advertising the Easter Egg Hunt. If you would be willing to help pass out Easter Egg Hunt announcements in the community, please contact Emily Holladay at Emily@broadwaybaptist.org for more information. And be sure to invite your friends!

Inclement Weather

Broadway Baptist Church is concerned with the safety and well-being of all of its members and employees. From time to time, inclement weather may necessitate cancelling worship or other scheduled activities and/or closing the church office. In such instances, the Church Administrator or the Pastor will determine whether conditions warrant such cancellations or closings.

Notifications of cancellations or scheduled changes will be communicated to members via REACH Alert notices and posts on social media. An announcement will also be added to the website, and a message will be left on the office answering machine.
