The Ministry Fair (a great time to sign up for fall activities and small groups) will be Sunday, August 26, before Sunday School and after Worship in the Family Life Center and Atrium. On Sunday, August 12, we are celebrating Promotion Sunday for our youth and children, and the conclusion of Creative Arts Camp.
Again this year, we will honor Promotion Sunday by blessing teachers and students from within our congregations and community during worship. We hope this will be a meaningful time of prayer and encouragement as we lift up those among us who will spend the next 10 months learning, teaching, and investing in the lives of the youngest members of our community.
To celebrate the wonderful things our children learned and experienced during Creative Arts Camp, the children will lead us in worship through song.

Families with children birth through 5th grade are invited to a Pot-Luck lunch after church on Sunday, June 24. We will participate in a mission project together after our meal, along with games for the children while adults are socializing. This will also be a great time for us to pray for our 3rd-5th grade children as they prepare to leave for Passportkids!

Elementary children (first grade and above) are invited to join Buechel Park Baptist Church and Lexington Avenue Baptist Church in the Family Life Center at Broadway Baptist for a sleepover! We will begin with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by games, a movie (and popcorn!), a devotion, and lights out. We will have breakfast at 8 a.m., and parents are asked to pick up their children at 9 a.m.

Dorothy Ann Armesto, granddaughter of Jim and Dorothy Nolen, will play a violin recital in Gheen’s Chapel on Saturday, June 17, at 3 p.m. The recital is free and open to the public.

First Friday Flick continues on April 7 at 10:30 am. Please join us for the recently released Disney movie, Moana. And since it is Spring Break, we would like to invite everyone of all ages to join us. Please call the church office 895.2459 by Thursday, April 6 at noon to reserve a seat. We meet in Room E-204 so enter through the office door and take the elevator to 2nd floor.

Please make plans to join us for worship led by the children and families of Broadway on Sunday, October 23, for Children’s Sabbath. We will dive deeper into this year’s theme of “blessing,” through the story of Jesus welcoming and blessing the children. You won’t want to miss this special Sunday in the life of our church.
Parents, Grandparents, and Caregivers of children from birth through 5th grade, please join the Family Ministry Leadership in the Family Life Center for lunch and a meeting to kick off the new school year. We will have childcare and lunch provided.
