All Saints Sunday, November 5, 11 a.m.
Broadway will once again be honoring the legacies of those we love and have lost during All Saints Sunday on November 5 in our worship service.
The Outreach Committee is hosting a Community-Wide Block Party, which will feature live music, food, Steel City Pops, a small farmer’s market, and games and activities for children of all ages. Free admission and parking, but bring cash to support local vendors.
In many ways, we are now entering the most challenging period of the interim. By the time you read this article, the Ad Hoc Committee will have presented their recommendations to the Deacons who will have a month to think about and discuss the material before voting on their recommendation at the May Deacons’ meeting. This recommendation will come to the Church Business Meeting on May 23.
Please join us for the movie, Wonder, at our new time, 11 a.m. Enter through office door, take elevator to second floor, Room E-204. New this month will be lunch following the movie. For May, we will dine at McAlisters Deli with lunch on your own. Please call the church office at 502.895.2459 by Thursday, May 10, to let us know you plan on attending the movie and/or lunch.
Oaks Day, Friday, May 4, Church Office Closed, Normal Campus Activities Continue

2018 Stewardship Campaign Update
We are nearing the home stretch of our 2018 Stewardship Campaign. As you know, at Broadway, Every Story Matters, and we want to encourage you to consider how your financial pledges shape the story of not only our church’s ministries, but the lives of all those Broadway encounters.
Thanks to all who returned pledge cards on the first pledge day of the Stewardship Campaign! Your support for the ministries of Broadway is very encouraging. Of those who have pledged, more than one third have increased their pledge over last year. As of October 11, we have 113 pledges, totaling $567,042.56., so continue to pray for our campaign as we’ve just passed the 60% mark toward our goal of $925,000.
Broadway parents are celebrating the arrival of Rev. Kristin Belcher, who has joined us as an interim youth minister. “As a parent, I have to say Broadway is so blessed to have such an experienced and talented minister to serve with our youth!” Melissa Barman said. “We are so eager to see her in action.”
The workshops we are having have been designed to prepare the congregation for what everybody wants to discuss: the future. Beginning in 2018, our workshops will focus on subjects that require the input of as many people as possible because we will be discussing those things that will shape what is to come for Broadway.
