Broadway and partner, Baptist News Global, will be hosting an evening of laughs reflecting on the legacy of renowned minister and humorist Grady Nutt on Saturday, September 23 at 6 p.m. BNG’s Executive Director/Publisher David Wilkinson will be speaking along with Grady’s son, Toby, will also share remembrances of his father.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly 35 years since Grady perished in a tragic airplane crash following a speaking engagement in Cullman, Ala. If you are old enough to remember this celebrated humorist, television personality, musician, author, and beloved Baptist, you remember stories from your parents about Grady, or you just need a good reason to laugh at a time when many of us tend to take ourselves and our religion too seriously, this night is for you.
