First, congratulations to Susan Reed for 10 years ministering at Broadway! A recurring theme during Susan’s tenure has been people commenting on how she continues to grow as a pastor. I couldn’t agree more. As a pastor to youth, and now as a pastor to the broader congregation, her ministry has been one of integrity, compassion, and effectiveness.
Second, please pray for our staff and many volunteers as things ramp up for summer. For some folks, summer is a time to slow down a bit. This is not true for anyone connected with youth or children! Camps, Playdates, Field Trips, Jubilate, overseas missions, and more keep our ministers and all those who work with them very busy. May God be lifted up in all that they do!
