A reminder to parents and family ministry leaders that we will meet on January 31 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Friendship Hall for a time of creative visioning about the future of the family ministry at Broadway.
During the meeting, we will look at the scope of ministry for families with children from birth through fifth grade to brainstorm the ways we would like to see both children and parents grow during that pivotal time of life. This will be an important time of dreaming together, and will inform much of our direction going forward.
After the retreat, a pedagogy team will meet to develop a formalized picture of what the broad strokes set in place during the meeting would look like in practice. Glenna Hess will be heading up that team using her extensive background in early childhood education.
