Hanging of the Green
November 29, 11 a.m. We will once again adorn our sanctuary for the Advent season with garlands, wreaths, candles, chrismons, and poinsettias. Choirs and congregation alike will sing carols and narrators will proclaim the significance of the service. Our Advent theme this year is The Story of Christ Around the World. Once again, our stoles and banners will be changed to Advent Blue. This is meant to inspire hope, and to encourage us to keep watch for the promised light of Christ, changing night into day, darkness into light, and filling our lives with hope, love, joy, and peace.
