A few folks have been asking for an update to the staffing proposal placed before the church in August, 2016. The original proposal failed to garner the strong consensus it needed to move forward, with revisions made throughout the fall. An ad hoc team is being formed that will begin its work in the coming weeks. Their task will be to propose a Staffing Ministry Alignment Plan that will organize the staff around the church’s priorities and also try to address issues regarding long term employee retention, recruitment, and advancement. Until this group’s work is approved by the church, we will remain in an interim status with youth ministry, and the pastoral staff will continue their excellent work in their current roles.
