Summer 2015 is quickly coming to a close, and we are eager to get Fall activities started once again. We have some great things in the works this fall, starting with our Promotion Sunday on August 16. This year, in addition to the children and youth moving into new Sunday School classes on Promotion Sunday, we will have a special service of blessing for students and teachers during worship on August 16. The kindergarten Bible presentation will take place that day, and we are inviting our partners from Chenoweth and the West End School to be a part of worship. Promotion Sunday will kick off our fall schedule, so we hope that you will invite your friends to join us in worship and Sunday School. August 16 will also be the Youth Back to School Party.
Wednesday, August 19, we will begin our regular Wednesday schedule again. Be on the lookout for more information about Wednesday night programming, and be sure to call the church office to reserve your spot for dinner!
And to top it all off, Sunday, August 23, is the Ministry Fair! You will not want to miss this opportunity to learn more about the ministries at Broadway and new ways that you can be involved. Again, this would be a perfect opportunity to invite friends who are new to Broadway and want to learn more about who we are.
As you can see, August is going to be a busy month, but we look forward to getting back into full swing after the summer. So don’t forget:
