Engaging, Applying, Serving

Youth programs at Broadway focus on the following throughout our weekly and yearly activities:

  • Engaging the Bible
  • Applying faith to our everyday lives
  • Serving the world around us

From a spiritual retreat for High School students, to a mission camp for all youth in the summer, to weekly small groups, and many more activities, we learn and grow together in ways that empower youth and help cultivate their faith. Youth frequently serve in some capacity in the Sunday worship service.

Youth Weekly Schedule

(for the school year)

9:45 am – 10:45 am Sunday School

Youth Sunday school is split by Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12.)  We meet in the "Youth Basement" and start with a group session of announcements and prayer then split up for Bible Study.

4:30 pm Youth Handbells
5:15  pm Youth Choir
6:05 pm Dinner
6:35 pm Small Groups

During the school year, the youth meet on Sunday nights for a time of community building, worship, and study. Dinner is provided every week and provides time for the youth to reconnect after a busy week. Handbells and choir provide youth with the opportunity of worshiping together and contributing to something larger than themselves. Small Groups are often divided by age and gender, and provide an opportunity to explore how faith can be relevant to our everyday lives.

5:30 pm – 6:00 pm Family Dinner
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Youth Group

Youth group meets to talk about missions, have Bible Study, do service projects and participate in team building games.

Summer Camps

Each summer, youth (grades 6-12) attend Passport Youth Camp. We pick a different location each year and sign-ups for camp begin in October (youth may sign up as late as May for camp, as long as space is available).
