Youth
Youth February Emphasis – Community!
Throughout the month of February, Youth Small Groups will focus on “Community.” We’ll be talking about how to be a good friend, son/daughter, sibling, etc. We’ll also talk about the importance of having a community of faith. Our discussions will be surrounded with fun activities and time for feedback and direction for each other!
Small Groups meet in the “Youth Basement”. Middle school groups are divided by gender and meet from 5:00 – 6:00. The High school group meets together from 6:30 – 7:30. February meetings will be on the 12, 19, and 26.
Youth programs at Broadway focus on three main things throughout our weekly and yearly activities. They are:
- Engaging the Bible
- Applying faith to our everyday lives
- Serving the world around us
From a spiritual retreat for High School students, to a mission camp for all youth in the summer, to weekly small groups, and many more activities, we learn and grow together in ways that empower youth and help cultivate their faith. Youth frequently serve in some capacity in the Sunday worship service.
